Monday, September 15, 2008: 3rd Annual Golf Tournament, Auction, and Dinner
Join us for a great day of golf at the Claremont Country Club. The tournament includes a 4-person scramble, box lunch, and awards dinner. Featured events include golf contests and auction. The USS HORNET MUSEUM marks its 10th Anniversary with an Open House Celebration from 10:00am - 5:00pm. The event will feature special tours of the ship from the Captain's Bridge where the course of history was charted, down to the Engine Rooms. Around every corner HORNET will hold another discovery waiting to happen. Celebrate the accomplishments made in the last decade - see new aircraft, new exhibits, and newly restored spaces. The day also includes games, entertainment, food and beverages, and much more.
