"The Lexington Museum has been associated with Flight Avionics, Inc. for over 12 years.  It has been an extremely beneficial relationship.  The simulator is popular with the visitors, is hightly reliable, and the people employed to operate it are top notch.  Best of all it is a hands off operation from a management perspective.  FANA provides all of the operations and maintenance support and The Lexington shares in the revenue which over the course of 12 years, has been substantial."

"We have used the flight simulators from Flight Avionics since we opened in 1998.  They have proved to be a very important part of the USS Hornet Museum experience.  From day-visitors to live-aboard groups to corporate dinners, there is always a line of people waiting to 'take a ride.'  Our relationsip with FANA has truly been a WIN for the USS Hornet Museum."

-Ralph Johnson

"The F/A-18 simulator experience with Flight Avionics has added a great deal of interactivity and realism to the aircraft carrier experience for our guests.  Once you've walked around the flight deck and explored the rest of the ship, there's only one thing left to do and that's to launch and recover your Navy jet from the flight deck.  That's exactly what our guests get to do with our Flight Avionics simulator and they love it!!"

-Mac McLaughlin
President/CEO
USS Midway Museum

"Thanks to Flight Avionics, our customers can experience history in a whole new way as they rock, pitch and jolt their way through a simulated reconnaissance mission during the 1945 Battle for Iwo Jima in the flight simulator.  Our overnight guests even come back in the morning and participate in a thrilling Desert Storm simulation.  The equipment is reliable and state of the art...it has been great working with Flight Avionics.

-Troy Collins
President/CEO
Battleship New Jersey Museum & Memorial

"For the past 6 years, Flight Avionics has done a terrific job generating additional income for the museum."

TESTIMONIALS
Management Overview:

General management and oversight of operations will be provided by Flight Avionics from corporate headquarters in Orlando, Florida.  The day-to-day operations will be managed by a local site manager that will be hired and trained by Flight Avionics.  We have experienced great success with hiring retired military personnel to manage and staff the exhibits.  We typically hire four to six retired military personnel who work either full time or part time schedules.  Our operations management personnel from Orlando will provide on-site hiring and training for the exhibit staff during the installation process and into initial operations of the exhibit to the public.  The institution will receive a detailed Profit Statement of the exhibit operations each month from Flight Avionics.

Maintenance Overview:

Flight Avionics has a reputation of providing the most reliable equipment in the industry. It is common for operation exhibits to experience less than 24 hours of down time in each operation year.  For emergency service Flight Avionics provides 24 hour, 365 days per year maintenance support to on-site exhibit operations.  We stock a complete inventory of replacement parts in Florida and maintain an extensive spare parts inventory at exhibit locations.  Preventative equipment maintenance is performed on a daily, weekly, monthly quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis.  Flight Avionics employs a Technical Director who oversees all on-site maintenance personnel.  We typically hire a retired military staff member with extensive military equipment maintenance experience to provide our on-site maintenance.  The Flight Avionics Technical Director will be on-site when the equipment first arrives and will remain throughout the installation and initial operations.  The on-site maintenance technician will be hired prior to arrival of the exhibit.  This technician will then receive hands-on training from our Technical Director throughout the installation process.  Flight Avionics maintains exceptionally skilled maintenance capabilities in the corporate office and on-site.
